Rare Keen Kutter Boy Scout marked hatchet has been cleaned of rust and the edge sharpened. This hatchet is from the late teens or early 20's. This hatchet head has been hung on a new American hickory handle. The handle has been hand sanded smooth and treated with orange oil and beeswax to help preserve the strength and integrity of the wood and bring out the natural character inherent in the wood. This hatchet comes with a custom, hand made leather sheath.
