Vintage Plumb Double Bit Axe has been cleaned and sharpened and hung on a new 31 inch American Hickory handle . The handle has been hand sanded smooth and hand treated with orange oil and beeswax . The custom leather sheath was made from 9 oz veg tan leather and given a basket weave design and an antique red finish . The sheath has a bonded welt and secured with copper rivets and burrs . This is a beautiful piece and is ready for work or is worthy of hanging on a wall for all to admire . Length 31 inches weight 4 lb 10 oz .
