Vintage WW II hatchet has been cleaned and sharpened and hung on a new American Hickory Handle . The new American Hickory Handle has been hand sanded smooth and hand rubbed with orange oil and beeswax . The custom leather was made from patterns specifically designed for this hatchet . The leather was given unique stamped pattern and an Antique Green Finish . The sheath has a bonded welt and both the sheath and belt hanger are secured with copper rivets and Burrs . The overstrike guard was laced to the hatchet with leather .
