Norlund axes were usually made by the Mann tool company operating out of Pennsylvania. Norlunds are generally pretty popular. The edge has a convex shape which is the perfect balance between sharp and durable. Then the edge was polished to give it a nice clean look. The handle is new and made of hickory and was treated with linseed oil.
