Vintage Norlund hatchet has been cleaned and sharpened .The original hickory handle was removed sanded lightly and the headd was rehung .The handle was hand rubbed with orange oil and beeswax . This hatchet is ready for your next outdoor adventure ,camping or hiking trip .The leather sheath is from 8/9 oz leather and given a deep rich mahogany stain and hand stitched with black Tiger thread and finished off with silver rivets and snap . The leather sheath was treated with Obenaufs Heavy Duty Leather Preservative . The overall length is 13 inches and weighs 1 lb 8 oz .
