Vintage Plumb Hatchet Vintage Plumb Boy Scout hatchet/axe with hand stitched leather sheath

Vintage Plumb Boy Scouts of America hatchet has been cleaned and sharpened and hung on a new handle .The new American Hickory handle was hand sanded smooth and given a flame treatment before being hand rubbed with orange oil and beeswax . The leather sheath was hand stitched with yellow tiger thread out of 8/9 oz leather . The leather was stamped with the BSA logo given a rich dark stain and treated with Obenaufs Heavy Duty Lether preservative . Length is 14 inches and weighs 1 lb 13 oz .
