Vintage Fixed blade knife by Cattaraugus with handmade leather sheath

Vintage Cattaraugus fixed blade knife has been cleaned and sharpened .This knife is very solid and ready for work .The 8/9 oz leather sheath was hand stitched with black Tiger thread and the leather was given a rich mahogany dye and treated with Obenaufs heavy duty leather preservative . Nickel colored rivets and snaps were added .The leather sheath was made by the artisans here at Appalachian Axeworks . The total knife length is 9 7/8 inches and the blade is 5 3/8 inches .The sheath is 12 3/4 inches in length .
